BANK OF BARODA RECRUITMENT 2012 FOR 2000 CLERICAL VACANCIES


CORRIGENDUM TO ADVERTISEMENT FOR RECRUITMENT OF -2000- CLERICAL PERSONNEL – PROJECT 2012
Bank had issued advertisement for recruitment of -2000- Clerical personnel- Project 2012 inviting applications for Clerical post from Indian citizens who are Graduates and who have taken the Common Written Examination for Clerical cadre conducted by IBPS in 2011, subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria which was published in Employment News dated 31.03.2012.
Further to our aforesaid advertisement for recruitment of -2000- Clerical Personnel – Project 2012, Bank has decided to relax the eligibility criteria in respect of educational qualifications (as against Graduation which was prescribed earlier) for this current recruitment exercise only as under :-

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
A pass with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10th std. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM candidates a pass in aggregate in Matriculation/SSC (old pattern)/SSLC/10th std. Examination of 10+2+3 pattern or equivalent.
                                                                       OR
A pass with 50% marks in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern)/11th Std. of (11+1+3) pattern or Intermediate/Pre-University or any equivalent examination/ Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/ State Government of UT administration. For SC/ST/OBC/PWD/EXSM candidates a pass in HSC examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern)/ 11th std. of (11+1+3) pattern of Intermediate/ Pre-University or any equivalent examination/ Diploma in Banking recognized by Central/ State Government or UT administration.

Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

PWD candidates who have taken the Common Written Examination for Clerical cadre conducted by IBPS in 2011 and possess a minimum score of 105 issued by IBPS, subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria are eligible to apply for vacancies of a State/UT from which they have appeared for the Common Written Examination and in which they have qualified. In respect of Ex-servicemen, CWE scores have been reduced for some states, as given below. However, it may be noted that shortlisting of candidates in respect of Ex-servicemen and PWD candidates would be in the ratio of 1:5 depending upon the number of vacancies in the State/ UT applied for.
We, therefore, issue a corrigendum to the said advertisement with relaxed eligibility criteria in respect of educational qualifications for all eligible applicants and relaxed CWE Score for all eligible PWD candidates and eligible Ex-servicemen in some states for the post of Clerical Personnel. All other terms and conditions remain unchanged.

Please note that Graduate candidates who have already applied in response to our earlier advertisement published in Employment News on 31.03.2012 need not apply again as their candidature will be taken into consideration at the time of shortlisting applications for the purpose of interview, in the ratio of 1:4 for General Category and 1:5 for Reserved Category depending upon the number of vacancies for the state and cut-off marks prescribed for the state under respective category, subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria.

Bank of Maharashtra Interview for 457probationary officers recruitment 2012
 Bank of Maharashtra has started the process of recruitment for filling up 457 posts of Probationary Officers (P.O.). Candidates desirous of applying against the current jobs openings against these vacancies in bank are required to make online  registration from the bank website.

Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of IBPS score of candidates in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted for the post of Probationary Officer (P.O.) / Management Trainee. SSC to notify recruitment of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police on 2 June 2012

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will announce recruitment of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police through Delhi Police Examination 2012 on 2 June 2012 tentatively. The written examination is scheduled on 19 August 2012 and stages & scheme of recruitment will be identical to those of Sub- Inspector in CAPFs Examination.
A total of 335 vacancies will be notified for recruitment which includes 324 for male and 11 for female candidates with Degree in any subject as the minimum educational qualification.

The recruitment of Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police will have three stages viz., Written Examination, Physical Endurance Test & Medical Examination, and Interview- cum- Personality Test. The recruitment will be on All-India basis and Interview will be conducted at Regional Offices for the convenience of the candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for recruitment of PO in Vijaya Bank

Educational Qualification: Degree from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Government of India.
IBPS Score Requirement: Candidates should be qualified in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and should be holding a valid score card issued by IBPS (TWS is 138 for General Category and 113 for OBC, PWD, SC, and ST category). IBPS Score cut-off in individual subjects should be 24 and above for General category candidates and 21 and above for OBC, PWD, SC, and ST category candidates.

Selection Procedure for recruitment of PO in Vijaya Bank: Selection for the post of `Probationary Officer' will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in September 2011/ Supplementary written examination on November 2011 and Group Discussion and/or Interview.
Depending on the number of vacancies, only those candidates who are qualified in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS and possess a valid score card issued by IBPS and rank sufficiently high in the order of merit based on the total Weighted Score shall be called for a Group Discussion and/or Interview.

Group Discussion: Communication skills, Analytical skills, personality traits etc will be assessed through Group Discussion. Candidates should secure a minimum of 40% (35% for reserved category candidates) i.e. Minimum 20 (17.5 for reserved category candidates) marks in the Group Discussion to be merit listed.

Interview: The interview shall be conducted to assess the personality traits having bearing on interpersonal competence, emotional stability, adaptability, courtesy, self confidence & temperament, positive attitude towards work/ people and communication skills etc. Minimum qualifying marks in interview are 40% (35% in case of Reserved Category candidates).
Final Selection: Final selection will be on the basis of the merit ranking reckoned after adding the marks obtained in the Total Weighted Score in the CWE (250 marks), Group Discussion (50 marks) and/or Interview (100 marks).

Application Fee: Fee for General and OBC category candidates is Rs 200 and fee for SC/ ST/ PWD category candidates is Rs 50.
The fee needs to be paid in the form of Payment challan available in the official notification. After submitting the On-Line application form, with the application fee details duly entered therein, candidates are required to obtain two (2) Print-outs of the Computerized System Generated Application Form. The second Print-out of the Application Form may be kept by the candidate for his record.

Eligibility Criteria :- 
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
OR
A pass with 50% marks in Higher Secondary Examination of 10+2 (10+2+3 pattern) / 11th Std.  (11+1+3 pattern) or Intermediate/Pre-University. (SC/ST/OBC/EXS & PWD candidates pass  only)
OR
A pass with 60% marks in the aggregate in Matriculation/ SSC/ (old pattern)/SSLC/10th Std. Examination (10+2+3 pattern) or equivalent.(SC/ST/OBC/EXS & PWD candidates passed with 50% marks in aggregate)

 SELECTION PROCEDURE:

Selection for Clerical Cadre posts will be made on the basis of performance in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in November-December 2011 and Interview.
 INTERVIEW: 
Depending upon the number of vacancies, the Bank reserves the right to call only those candidates who have sufficiently high IBPS score in Common Written Examination for Interview.

The total marks for Interview will be 75. Minimum qualifying marks will be 40% (35% in case of SC, ST, OBC, EXS and PWD Candidates.

Candidate should have proficiency in the Official language of the State for which he/ she has applied. There may be some questions in the local language at the time of interview.

INTERVIEW CENTRES:

The Interview will be held at the following centres. Addresses of the venues will be advised in the call letters.  The addresses of the venues will also be displayed in the Bank’s website one week before the dates for commencement of Interviews. List of Interview centres will be as below:
