ICICI Bank PO Recruitment for Batch Nov 2012 – Feb 2013

ICICI Bank is the Largest Private sector bank of India with over 2700 branches across the nation. Started in 1994 is now present in 19 countries. ICICI Bank regularly conducts recruitment programmes for Probationary Officers from 2007 Onwards in collaboration with Manipal academy.
This process enrolls selected candidates for MBA degree in Finance and Banking from Manipal university. On completion of training, they are appointed as Assistant managers with salary of more than 4 lacs/yr and awarded Post Graduate Diploma in Banking.
Like every year, ICICI Bank has announced Probationary Officers recruitment for Nov 2012 and Feb 2013 batch.

Canara Bank Recruitment of Clerks Project 2012

Canara Bank was founded by Shri Ammembal Subba Rao Pai, a great visionary and philanthropist, in July 1906, at Mangalore, then a small port in Karnataka. Selection Procedure for recruitment in Canara Bank: Selection for the post of Clerk will be based on the Total Weighted Standard Score in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS in 2011 and marks scored in the Group Discussion and Interview. Candidates will also be gauged on their Official Language Proficiency, (read, write & speak) of the State / UT for which the candidate has applied, and marks will be awarded for the same.
Depending on the number of vacancies, the Bank reserves the right to call only those candidates who have sufficiently high IBPS score in Common Written Examination for GD (100 marks) and Interview (100 marks).
The bank will prepare final list for each State/ Union Territory on the basis of TWS scores obtained by the candidates in the stipulated CWE for Clerks (60% marks) + Group Discussion (15% marks) + Interview (25% marks).

SELECTION PROCESS
A. INTERVIEW:
 

Mere eligibility/ pass in the Common Written Examination shall not vest any right in a candidate for being called for Interview. Depending upon the number of vacancies, only those candidates who rank sufficiently high in the order of merit in Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in Sept / Nov 2011, as per the cut-off marks decided by the Bank will be called for the Interview.

The Interview will carry 50 Marks. Minimum qualifying marks in the Interview will be 22.50 marks for General Category and 20.00 marks for SC/ST/OBC/PC Candidates.

Final selection will be made on the basis of aggregate marks obtained by the candidates in the Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in Sept / Nov 2011 & Interview and will be strictly according to the merit ranking. The candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC/PC will be given relaxation in marks as per extant Government Guidelines. The Bank reserves the right to change the selection procedure, if necessary.

INTERVIEW CENTRES
The interview will be held at major centres across the country and address of the same will be advised in the interview call letters. The Interviews will be held at different centres on different dates as decided by the Bank and will be communicated to the candidates shortlisted for Interview.

Selection will be based on group discussion, written test and marks obtained in IBPS exam.

Total 2000 vacancies are for the post of Clerks. Candidates with minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years of age can apply for this post. Minimum 55% marks in 12th class with proficiency in local language is a must. Candidates should also have a valid score in IBPS common written exam.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) jobs opening for 1000 assistant positions

The Reserve Bank of India is the central banking institution of India and controls the monetary policy of the rupee. The institution was established on 1 April 1935 during the British Raj in accordance with the provisions of the Reserve Bank of India Act, 1934 and plays an important part in the development strategy of the government. Eligibility Criteria for recruitment in Reserve Bank of India
Educational Qualification: At least a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (pass class for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates) in the aggregate and the knowledge of word processing on PC.
Age limit (as on 1 March 2012): Maximum 28 years
Pay Scale: basic pay of Rs 8,860 per month (i.e. Rs 8,040 plus two advance increments admissible to graduates only) in the scale of Rs 8,040 – 410 – 9270 – 500 – 11,270 – 550 – 13,470 – 650 – 15,420 – 720 – 16,140 – 990 – 20,100 (20 years) and other allowances, viz. Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance, Transport Allowance etc., as admissible from time to time. At present, initial monthly Gross emoluments for Assistants is approximately Rs 19,340. The total CTC of the candidate works out at the minimum to Rs 2,63,500 per annum.
Selection Procedure for recruitment in Reserve Bank of India: The selection procedure will comprise of Written Examination and interview. The Written Examination (WE) will be of 200 marks and will consist of 5 Objective Tests which includes the following.
  • Test of Reasoning (40 marks)
  • Test of English Language (40 marks)
  • Test of Numerical Ability (40 marks)
  • Test of General Awareness (40 marks)
  • Test of Computer Knowledge (40 marks)
Application Fee: Application fee for General and OBC category candidate is Rs 385 and no fee will be charged from candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ PWD category.
Fee is payable in the form of Online Payment (by using MASTER/VISA debit/ credit cards or Internet Banking)/ Fee Payment Challan by Demand Draft favouring Reserve Bank of India and payable at Mumbai only. However, candidates from un-banked at any branch of any one of the banks, viz. Bank of Baroda/ Bank of India/ Indian Overseas Bank/ Central Bank of India/ Punjab National Bank/ United Bank of India. The payment of fees will be accepted from 2nd working day after registration and can be made within three working days at any branch of the above mentioned banks.
