Bank of India Clerical Recruitment 2012 for 3149 Vacancies

BANK OF INDIA, a leading Public Sector Bank having Head Office at Mumbai, invites applications for recruitment of 3149 posts in CLERICAL CADRE from Indian citizens, who have taken the Common Written Examination for Clerical cadre conducted by IBPS in 2011 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS.

 Eligibility Criteria

• Age should be in 18-28 yrs as on 01.08.2011 (Relaxed by 5 - SC/ST, 3 - OBC, 10 - PWD)
• 50% marks in Intermediate (XIIth) in the 10+2+3 pattern,
                                   OR,
  Standard XI under the 11+4 pattern or its equivalent of recognized Educational Board.
                                OR,
A Graduation degree from any recognized University.

• Note that Graduation is not Required and XIIth pass candidates (With 50%) may apply.
• Like BOB, You may apply only from the state in which you appeared for the exam and Should possess proficiency in the official language of the State.
• Computer basics certification course is Required.
• Required Minimum IBPS Score is given State wise and can be seen from the Advertisement. Candidates needs to score min score in each subject as mentioned below.
  • For General Category :- Min Marks is 24 in Each Subject.
  • For OBC/SC/ST/PWD/EXS Category :- Min Marks is 21 in Each Subject.

Selection Procedure

• Like before, candidates ranking high enough in merit will be called for Interviews on vacancies and IBPS CWE Clerical Scores (State Wise). Final selection to be made on the basis of overall performance (IBPS CWE and Interviews). Interview will be for 100 marks and Min 50% for General Category and 45% for reserved category are required to qualify it.

Application Procedure

• The fee is NIL for SC/ST/PWD/EXS and Rs.200 for Others.
• Payment to be made by This Payment Challan at any Bank of India branch and get Transaction ID, Branch Code etc. details in your copy of challan.
• After Payment, you should apply online with all details filled properly. Note down the generated Registration Number and Password and keep the payment challan safe to be submitted in Interview (If called for).
• Also, Take two application form print-outs properly signed and photograph pasted on them. These will be submitted if shortlisted for Interview.

Shortlisted candidates will later be informed and Call letters for Interviews will be sent to them via SMS / E-mail. Shortlisted candidates will also be listed on Bank' s Website before Interview process Starts.
