IBPS Clerk Exam 2012

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) invited applications for the Recruitment in Clerical Cadre in Public Sector Banks 2012. The Common Written Examination will be conducted by IBPS tentatively in December 2012.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidates intending for Common Written Examination should ensure that they should fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria specified by IBPS before applying for the Common Written Examination (CWE).

1. Age
• Minimum Age: 20 Years
• Maximum Age: 28 Year
• The maximum age limit specified is applicable to General Category candidates ( See Advertisement for Details)

2. Educational Qualifications
• Candidate should have Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government
• Computer literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory i.e. candidates should have Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations/Language/ should have studied Computer / Information Technology as one of the subjects in the High School/College/Institute.

IBPS Changed Venue for Two Cities: CWE for Recruitment of Office Assistant RRB

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) changed the venue for two cities, Kokrajhar, Muzaffarpur in lieu to the Common Written Examination (CWE) for recruitment of Office Assistant Regional Rural Banks (RRB). The common written examination is to be held on 9 September 2012.

Syndicate Bank Specialist Officers Recruitment 2012-13 under IBPS CWE

Syndicate Bank is one of the leading public sector banks in India with its head office in Manipal. The Bank, which was started in year 1928, has a huge workforce of over 26,000 employees spread within a network of over 2650 branches across the country.
The Bank invited online applications for recruitment of 25 Specialist Officers (SO). Candidates who appeared for SO Common Written Examination (CWE) conducted by IBPS in March 2012 and have a valid Score card can apply.

For Rajbhasha Adhikari: PG in Hindi with English as a subject at degree level OR PG in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at degree level from a recognized University/Board.
Application Fee:  An application fee of Rs.100 (for Gen and OBC candidates) and Rs.20 (for SC/ST/PWD candidates) should be paid at any of the Syndicate Bank branches on or before 18.09.2012 through a payment challan available on bank’s website .

Selection Procedure: Depending on the number of vacancies, those candidates who have a valid score card issued by the IBPS and rank high in the merit list would be called for a Personal interview. The final selection will be made on the basis of a merit list, prepared on the basis of the CWE score of the candidates and marks obtained by them in Personal Interview (under the respective SC/ST/OBC/GEN category).

ANDHRA BANK RECRUITMENT FOR PO’S & SPECIALIST OFFICERS : 2012-13

Andhra Bank invited online applications for the post of Probationary Officer/Specialist Officer. Candidates who have taken the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officer cadre conducted by IBPS in  September / November 2011 and for Specialist Officers on 11 March 2012 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS are eligible to apply.  The total number of vacancies is 470.

Depending upon the number of vacancies, and number of applications received for each post, the Bank reserves the right to call only those candidates who have sufficiently high IBPS score in the stipulated Common Written Examination (CWE)  for Group Discussion and/or Interview. Mere submission of application does not entail an applicant to be called for Group discussions and/or interview.
Procedure for depositing fees: An application fee of Rs.100 for General/OBC candidates and of Rs.20 for SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PWD)/ Ex-SM has to be paid.
