ANDHRA BANK RECRUITMENT FOR PO’S & SPECIALIST OFFICERS : 2012-13

Andhra Bank invited online applications for the post of Probationary Officer/Specialist Officer. Candidates who have taken the Common Written Examination (CWE) for Probationary Officer cadre conducted by IBPS in  September / November 2011 and for Specialist Officers on 11 March 2012 and have a valid Score card issued by IBPS are eligible to apply.  The total number of vacancies is 470.

Pay Scale:

•    Officers in JMGS-I: Rs.14500-Rs.25700
•    Officers in MMGS-II:  Rs.19400-Rs.28100


Age Limit:   
•    Minimum: 20 (for PO, IT officers, Rajbasha Officers and HR Officers); 21 (for Law Officers).
•    Maximum: 30 (for PO) (as on 01 July, 2011); 35 (for IT officers, Rajbasha Officers and HR Officers);    40 (for Law Officers) (as reckoned on 01 December, 2011).    

Educational Qualification:
Probationary Officers: Graduate in any discipline from a UGC recognized University or equivalent qualification recognized by the government.
IT Officers: Graduate/PG in CS/CA/IT/EC/Instrumentation OR graduate with DOEACC ‘B’ level.
Rajbasha Officers: PG in Hindi with English as a subject during Graduation OR PG in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects in Graduation.
HR Officers: PG or Diploma in Personnel Management/IR/HRD social work/Labour Law OR Degree/Diploma in Business Administration/Management with specialization in HRD.
Law Officers: Law graduate (LLB) with 3 years experience at Bar or Judicial service and/or Law Officer in legal department of a reputed Bank or the Central /State Govt. or PSU.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:

Selection would be by way of Group Discussion and/or Interview. Bank reserves the right to decide as to whether  Group Discussion and Interview should be held or only a process of interview may be prescribed.
Depending upon the number of vacancies, and number of applications received for each post, the Bank reserves the right to call only those candidates who have sufficiently high IBPS score in the stipulated Common Written Examination (CWE)  for Group Discussion and/or Interview. Mere submission of application does not entail an applicant to be called for Group discussions and/or interview.
Procedure for depositing fees: An application fee of Rs.100 for General/OBC candidates and of Rs.20 for SC/ST/Persons with Disability (PWD)/ Ex-SM has to be paid.
•    The application fee can be paid through NEFT at any Bank branch or through CBS at any branch of Andhra Bank using a payment challan available on Bank’s website www.andhrabank.in from 1 September, 2012 to 15 September, 2012.
NOTE: Fees once paid will not be refunded nor it would be held in reserve for any other future selection process.
•    Proficiency in MS word/MS Office is must.
